Willis Wangsness, 75, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Decorah Lutheran Church. Burial: Hillside Cemetery, Ossian. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at French & Balik Funeral Home, Decorah, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; two daughters, Linda Wangsness of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Le Ann Bahr of Maple Grove, Minn.; one sister, Joanne Egge of Decorah; and three brothers, Howard of Decorah, Kenneth of Allison, and John of Ankeny.
