Lester O. Hexom, 96, died Monday, April 15, 2002, in Good Samaritan Center, Postville, after a long illness. Memorial services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Ossian Lutheran Church, where friend may call after noon Thursday. Inurnment: Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements with Schmitz Funeral Home, Ossian.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Lott of Waterloo and Caroline Ashmore of Fennimore, Wis.
