Decorah- Marjorie L. Thompson, 70, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, in the Aase Haugen Home after a long illness. Memorial services 3:30 p.m. Sunday, First United Methodist Church, by the Rev. James Dale. Burial: Phelps Cemetery. There will be no visitation; her body was cremated. Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; a daughter, Teresa Grosser of Decorah; and a sister, Doris Pieper of Auburn, Calif.
