Decorah- Harold L. Richert, 79, of rural Decorah, died of lung cancer Thursday in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, St. John's Lutheran Church at Locust, rural Decorah. Burial: Phelps Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight at Fjelstul Funeral Home and one hour before service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, LaVanda; a son, Philip of Mabel, Minn.; and two daughters, Clarian Wilder of Calmar and Linda Jennings of Decorah.
