Decorah- Allyn J. Mincks, 60, died Thursday in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Fjelstul Funeral Home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial: St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; seven daughters, Ellyn Diederich of Le Mars, Mary Holkesvik, Wendy Henry and Sherry Henry, all of Decorah, Sandy Reicks of Cresco, Terry Tran of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Brenda Henry of Fairbank; three sons, Allyn of Waterloo, Joe of Decorah and Robert of La Porte City; three brothers, Richard of Ossian, Cecil of Iowa City and Ivan of Charles City; and a sister, Carol Mincks of Calmar.
