Decorah- George Brandt, 55, died Wednesday at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital of cancer. He was a sales supervisor for Knight Beer Distributing Co. of Decorah.

Survivors are four sons, Shane and George Jr., both of Decorah, Marvin of Des Moines, and Thomas of Montana; two daughters, Debra Gray of Montana and Denise Brandt of Decorah; two sisters, Gladys Rude of Decorah and Alice Richardson of Canton; two half-sisters, Margaret Jensen of Hackensack, Minn., and Katheryn Barta of Cresco, Iowa; a half-brather, Matt Eidenschink of Decorah; and a grandchild.

Services: Saturday, 10:30 a.m., St. Benedict's Catholic Church, with military rites and burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Sensor-French's, where a VFW memorial service will be held at 7 tonight, followed by a parish payer service at 8:15.
