Decorah- Alfred Stortz, 92, died Thursday, March 30, 1995, in Aase Haugen Nursing Home after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at French & Balik Funeral Home, where there will be a prayer service at 4 and a rosary at 7 p.m.

Survivors include a son, Gerald of Decorah; a daughter, Marilyn Reicks of West Union; and a sister, Florence of Decorah.
