The home of John Sullivan, the well known and efficient section foreman of the Rock Island railroad, was saddened last evening by the death of his daughter Bridget, which occurred at 6:15 o'clock. The deceased was born in Winneshiek county, Iowa, on Dec. 5, 1869, and had reached the age of 24 years, 9 months and 28 days. She lived in Omaha for the past five or six years, coming to Davenport as stated above. Besides the bereaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sullivan and Honora, and one brother, Eugene, a valued switchman in the Rock Island yards, all of this city.

The funeral will take place tomorrow in the church of the Visitation., Des Moines, Rev. J.F. Nugent, pastor, Des Moines being the former home of the Sullivan family. The remains were taken there this afternoon via the Rock Island, on the 5:40 o'clock train.
