Matthew James Lundt, age 25 of Decorah, Iowa, died Wednesday evening, July 23, 2014, in a drowning accident in the Upper Iowa River.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, July 28 at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah. A private family graveside service will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Laurie (Will) Gibson of Earlville, IA; his father, Lauren (Diana) Lundt of Mindoro, WI; two sisters: Jessica Lundt of New Hampton, IA and Grace Lundt of Mindoro; his girlfriend, Jenny Henry of Decorah; his grandmother, Betty Lundt of Decorah; two nieces, Addyson and Alissa; one nephew, Aiden; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
