Elmer A. Ervin of Decorah died at Lawler on the morning of July 7th, after a brief illness of four or five days. He was a young man who would have secured eminence as an instructor of music. He leaves a wife and child and a large circle of friends and relatives. He was a son of S__e{illegible) Ervin and son-in-law of A. K. Bailey.
