DAY.--At Decorah, February 12th 1883, Mrs. Elizabeth Day, aged 78 years.

Mrs. Day, with her husband, Wm. Day, settled in Decorah in 1849; they were the original proprietors of the town; resided there to the time of their deaths respectively. Their sons Claiborne, John F. and Richard V., are residents of Decorah.
