Rites Held For Lynn B. Crawford Funeral services were held Monday at the Frankville Presbyterian Church for Lynn B. Crawford, 64 who passed away Thursday, February 3, at his home in Frankville Rev. Walter T. Martin. pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville officiated. Burial was in the Frankville cemetery. Born At Frankville, Lynn B. Crawford, Son of Thomas J. and Helen Cavin Crawford, was born July 27, 1890 at Frankville. He died Thursday, February 3, 1955 at 6:50 p. m. at his home in Frankville at the age of 64 years. He attended schools in Frankville and Decorah and was graduated from the Valders Business college at Decorah. Lynn B. Crawford was married to Ruth Marston on November 30, 1916 at Earlham, Iowa. To this union two children were born, a son, Thomas J. and a daughter, Jean Shirley. Lynn Crawford was engaged in farming throughout his life. During the last 20 years he was associated with the farm program of the government. The past two years he held the position of office man for the Agriculture Stabilization committee at Decorah. He was a member of the school hoard of his district for 43 years and served in all the offices of the board. He was a member of the Frankville Presbyterian Church and he was privileged to serve as treasurer of the church for many years. Lynn B. Crawford is survived by his wife Mrs. Lynn Crawford of Frankville: a son Thomas J of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Mrs. Roger Sampson of Frankville; two brothers, Irving on the home farm at Frankville, and Charles C. of Norfolk, Nebraska; and two grand-children. Lynn Crawford was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Stella.
