Irene Myrah, 86, died February 14, 2002, in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A memorial service was held Feb. 18 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and a private graveside service was held at Resthaven Cemetary, Fort Collins, Colo.

Irene M. Klotzbach was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Monona, to Theodore and Alvina Klotzbach.
She married Arnold Myrah Feb. 20, 1941.

They made their home in the Decorah area until moving to Fort Collins in 1963.

Irene Myrah was a homemaker whose life revolved around her faith, her family, and particularly little children.

She was an inspiration to everyone she met because of her strength and courage in overcoming polio, which she contracted at age 3, and the many health problems associated with the disease.

Survivors include her daughters and their husbands: Lois (George) Wright of Phoenix, Ariz.; Arlene (Richard) Boaman of Fort Collins; Shirley (Sherwin) Iverson of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and Sharon (Tom) Randazzo of Fort Collins; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Wikan of Decorah and Angeline Roney of Lansing and many nieces and nephews.

Irene M. Myrah was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, their son, Charles, her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
