Lily Agnes Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Moore, was born December 4th, 1884 at the family homestead near Kendallville, Iowa. In early womanhoood she accepted Christ as her Saviour and united with the Kendallville M.E. church. On Nov. 25th, 1914 she was united in marriage to Linus Arthur Curtis, with whom she spent five happy years of ideal companionship. One little son, Arthur, came to bless the union. As a daughter and sister, in the home, she was always kind and affectionate; ever mindful of the needs and conmforts of others. Truly her life has been one of loving deeds. On Monday morning, February 2d, 1920, she was taken suddenly ill and grew gradually weaker. After two and one half days of intense suffering her weary spirit left the scenes of earth to dwell with Christ in the Heavenly land.

She is survived by her husband and little son, Arthur, aged thre years, her father and mother, four brothers and three sisters, together with a host of sorrowing relatives and friends, who mourn her loss.

The family circle has been broken here on earth but may God unite them all in heaven at last.

Funeral services were held at the Kendallville church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Turner, and her body was laid to rest in the Kendallville Cemetery, February 8th, 1920.
