Halvor Woldum, 88, of Davenport, former Decorahian and once owner of Decorah Produce Co., died Monday, April 24, at Davenport.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, at 11 a.m. from First Lutheran Church, Decorah. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday.

The Rev. Glenn Kappelmann will conduct the services, with Olson-Fjelstul Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norman Woldum, Ray Woldum, Carl Nichols, Grant Woldum, Robert Bernatz, and H. C. Natvig.

Luren Singers
Special music for the services will be the Luren Singing Society.

Mr. Woldum was born in Norway on Oct. 18, 1878.
He was married in 1905 to Melia Wold in Allamakee County. His wife died in 1929.

To their marriage were born a daughter, Mrs. B. D. Howland, of Davenport, and a son, Dr. Lester Woldum, Minneapolis.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Lutheran Worship
Mr. Woldum was a member of the Lutheran Church.
He had lived in Davenport for the past eight years.

Family survivors, besides his son and his daughter, induce four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the Olson-Fjelstul Funeral Home Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m.
