HOREN.--At Plymouth Rock, Sept. 30th, 1879, Mamey, daughter of Patrick and Catherine Horen, aged 5 years.

After an illness of but three days she succumed{sp} to that dreaded scourge, typhoid fever.

Another rose picked in its bloom,
And now it fades beneath the tomb.
Long will her prattle our hearts entwine,
But where she has gone there is no time,
In that land you will find the blest,
At last therein parents and child will be at rest.
