Michael J. Fitzpatrick, of Frankville township, passed away Sunday night at nine o'clock at the Rochester hospital. Death was due to ulcers of the stomach and followed an operation on Saturday.

Deceased was born in Ireland about fifty years ago and came to America about 25 years ago. He had prospered here and several years ago built a handsome residence on the farm in Frankville township. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, one daughter, two sons, two brothers and one sister in this country, and several relatives in Ireland.

Mr. Fitzpatrick will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a genial gentleman, generous of heart and hand, and public spirited.

The funeral was held from the Catholic church in Ossian, Thursday morning.
