Erling R. Knutson dies at Decorah

Timesnews--Erling R. Knutson, 70, of Decorah, a former Vinton resident, died Thursday. He suffered a stroke five years ago.

The Knutson family lived in Vinton many years and he operated a creamery with his brother, Karl.

In addition to his widow, the former Genevieve Harper of Vinton, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Jean) Fry of Blairstown; and two isters,
Mrs. Gladys Bernatz of Decorah and his twin, Mrs. Esther Myers of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by two sons. Milo Harper of Vinton is a
brother-in-law of Erling Knutson.

The funeral will be Monday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church in Decorah.

The family's home address is 104 Monroe Street, Decorah.
