Funeral arrangements are being made for Adolph Mikesh, lifelong resident of this vicinity who died early Monday morning, Dec. 11 at his home east of Spillville on the farm where he was born and spent his entire life. The funeral will be held at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic church with the Rev. Biskup, pastor, offering the requiem mass. Survivors are his wife, the former Minnie Herold, and four daughters Mrs. Paul (Mae) Kittlesby and Genevieve at home; Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Swestka of Monona and Mrs. Clarence (Loretta) Kalishek of Little Turkey. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Jake (Anna) Kubish, Fort Atkinson; Mrs. Fred (Emma) Swella, Spillville; three brothers, James Mikesh, Lawrenceville, N. J.; Martin Mikesh, Jersey City, N. J., and Jos. Mikesh of Cedar Rapids. His parents, two sisters, Mrs. Tena Scheidel, Mrs. Mary Beckel and a brother, Anton, have preceded him in death.
