Funeral services for I. G. McQueen, who passed away at his home here early Saturday morning following a few months’ illness, were held at the home at 1:15 o’clock and at the Ridgeway Methodist church at 1:30 o’clock Monday afternoon. The pastor, Rev. F. W. Cass officiated and the pallbearers were R. G. Baker, O. O. Rue, M. O. Rue, C. T. Trytten, Theo. Kvale and Will Soukup.

Tuesday funeral services were held at the Hitchcock funeral home at Moulton, Ia., at 2 o’clock and interment was in Oakland cemetery at Moulton.

Isaac Glenn McQueen was born in Edinburg, Indiana, June 11, 1889, the only child of the union of Martin Edwin McQueen and Henrietta Sawin McQueen. He passed away at his home at Ridgeway, Ia., May 13, 1944. In early childhood he came with his parents to Moulton. Later he moved to Springfield, Mo., where he graduated from high school at the age of 16 years. He then attended business school in Waterloo. He continued his education at the University of Iowa. Following that he entered the banking profession which he followed for 32 years.

October 30, 1912, he was united in marriage to Allie May Dickson. To this union one son, Robert Martin McQueen was born, who with the devoted wife, survive. At the time of his death he was president of the Farmers State Bank at Ridgeway.

Throughout his life, Glenn was a source of joy and inspiration to his family, relatives and friends. He was at all times a kind and loving father and husband, he and his son being inseparable companions.

Glenn was interest in all youth activities. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, a 32d degree Mason, the Odd Fellows, the Elks and the American Legion. He served two years as president of group 4 of the Iowa Banker’s Assn., being considered one of Northeastern Iowa’s competent bankers.
