Miss Ingri Myran, 83, a long time resident of Madison township, passed away at the Decorah hospital Thursday evening. Miss Myran, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asle Myran, was born in Sigdahl, Norway on Dec. 3, 1854. At the age of one year she came with her parents to this country and to Madison township where she has resided till her death which occurred Thursday May 27. Miss Myran was preceded in death by five sisters. Funeral services for the deceased were held Monday, May 31 at 1 o’clock at the funeral home in Decorah and at the Madison Lutheran church at 2 o’clock with the pastor Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Interment was in the Madison cemetery. Much sympathy is extended to the relatives and the many friends who mourn her departure.
