Laurence Hove

Funeral services for Laurence Hove, who died Thursday evening at the Cresco hospital, following an operation for a ruptured appendix was held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the pastor, Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Burial was in the Lincoln cemetery. Laurence Hove, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hove, was born in Lincoln township July 31, 1890. On May 14, 1913, he was united in marriage to Miss Aletta Linde, who survives him. The major part of his life has been spent here near Ridgeway and about a year ago he and his family moved to a farm near Cresco. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, four sons, Lowell, who has joined the navy, Marion, Irene and Roger, three brothers, George Hove of New York, Elmer Hove of Ridgeway, two sisters, Mrs. Herman Albertson of Ridgeway and Mrs. Ole Albertson of Maddock, N. D. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and John. Much sympathy is extended to the family, brothers and sisters, and to the many friends who mourn his departure.
