Services held for Marcelline Phillips

Funeral services for Marcelline Phillips of Decorah were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Decorah with Rev. Gary Krapfl officiating. Interment was in St. Benedict’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Decorah. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Marcelline, 90, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah following a short illness.

He is survived by three daughters: Patricia Axmear of Decorah, Barbara Opat of Schley, and Marcia Radeke of Shellsburg; two sons: Peter of Shueyville and Mark of Marion; and one sister: Angie Sauser of Cascade.
