Services held for Kathleen Leibold
Funeral services for Kathleen Leibold of Fort Atkinson were held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson with Rev. John Moser officiating. Interment was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. Pallbearers were: Carl Schmitt, Peter Schmitt, Joe Schmitt, and Jay Schwamman. Balik-Schluter Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Kathleen, 59, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at the Oneota Riverview Care Facility in Decorah following a long illness.
Kathleen Mary Leibold was born January 19, 1944 in Decorah, the daughter of Hugo and Margaret (Kupka) Leibold. She lived at home with her parents until 1978 and then went to the Riverview Care Facility. Kathleen enjoyed living at the Care Facility.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by three sisters: Florence Johnson of West Union, Judy Zweibohmer of Ridgeway, and Jeanne Moscoso of Brier, WA; half sister Helen Becker of Hiawatha; and half-brother: Edmund Leibold of Cresco.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and half-brother: Henry Leibold.
