Lenora Enderson services Feb. 12

Memorial services will be held for Lenora Enderson at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 12 at the Conway Funeral Home in Cresco. Interment will be at the Madison Cemetery in Ridgeway with the Rev. Phillip Olson officiating.

Lenora, age 97, died Sunday, February 8, 1998 at the Cresco Care Center.

Lenora was born on May 4, 1900 in Ridgeway, the daughter of Nels and Rachel (Evenson) Thompson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Lincoln Lutheran Church rural Ridgeway. Lenora attended school in Ridgeway until returning to help with the work at the family farm.

She was united in marriage to Elmer Enderson on June 14, 1942 in Decorah. They made their home on the farm near Ridgeway until they retired and moved into town.

Lenora is survived by one daughter, LaVonne of Ridgeway; and a son, Elwood.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1964, her parents and two brothers, Carl and Alfred Thompson.
