Albert Sigfred Ramstad passed away at his home near Ridgeway at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Sep. 24. He had been in poor health for several years and confined to his bed for a number of weeks before being released from bodily life.

Mr. Ramstad was born at Hatton, N. D., on Sept. 6, 1885. His parents were Ole and Olene Ramstad. He was baptized on Oct. 4 of the same year in the Lutheran church near his birth place. On May 6, 1900, he was confirmed in the Madison Lutheran church by the Rev. N. P. Xavier. He was married to Miss Tena Marie Olson Dec. 19, 1917. A daughter, Olene and a son Thomas are children of this union. Besides his wife and two children, he left as near relatives a step-mother living in Decorah, two brothers, Alfred and John and a sister, Mrs. Almo Hovden of Madison township.

Much sympathy is extended to the family in the loss of a kind and loving husband and father and to the many relatives and friends who mourn his departure.
