Adolph Wagner, age 89, of Protivin died Friday March 21, 2008 at the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah after a long illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin with Rev. David Beckman officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday after 9:30 at the Holy Trinity Church in Protivin.

Adolph R. Wagner was born April 20, 1918 to Frank and Mary (Pecinovsky) Wagner on the family farm near Protivin, Iowa. Adolph attended the country school near his home. Adolph farmed his whole life. He enjoyed watching TV. Adolph entered the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah on February 5, 1997.He was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin, IA.

Adolph is survived by two sisters-in-law: Ursula Wagner of Protivin, IA. Angeline Wagner of Spillville, IA. And many nieces and nephews.

Adolph was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Frank and Bill Wagner and three sisters: Emma Horn, Mae Wagner and Clara Kalec.
