Rhonda L. Jermeland, age 41, of Decorah, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah following a long illness.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2008 at First Lutheran Church in Decorah with Rev. Steven M. Jacobsen officiating. Inurnment will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah.

Rhonda Lynn (Moen) Jermeland was born February 25, 1967 in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald A. and Linda M. (Phillips) Moen. She graduated from Decorah High School with the class of 1985.

Rhonda worked at Lands End in West Union, the Super 8 Motel in Decorah and then at Upper Iowa University in Fayette.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald, on March 18, 1988; her maternal grandfather, William Phillips; and her paternal grandparents, Arthur & Marian Moen.

She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Monthy of Decorah and Danielle Jermeland of West Union; her mother, Linda Moen of Decorah; her maternal grandmother, Maxine Phillips of Decorah; two sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Vick and Leann Patterson, both of Decorah; one niece, Alexis Vick; and two nephews, Tony Moen and Kelby Kobriger.
