Hjelmeland Infant Died Last Friday

Darryl Wayne Hjelmeland, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hjelmeland, Decorah, died Sept. 27 at Smith Memorial Hospital.

The funeral is being held today at 10 a.m. at the Decorah Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Bruno Schlachtenhaufen in charge.

The child was born May 10, 1963. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gunder Lundtvedt; paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hjelmeland.

Burial will be in Springwater Lutheran Cemetery.
