Hildegard C. Brincks, age 87, of Fort Atkinson, Iowa, died on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Mercy Medical Center, in New Hampton, Iowa, following a sudden illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, Iowa with Rev. David Beckman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 and until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday morning at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, Chekal Chapel, in Fort Atkinson, Iowa. There will be a scripture service at 4:00 p.m. and a rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hildegard’s survivors include one son: Parnell Brincks & wife Diane of Waucoma, IA; Five daughters: Patricia Vsetecka & husband Alvin, Lawler, IA; Geraldine Tlusty & husband Ronald, Cresco, IA; Verneal Koudelka, Elma, IA; Mardell Sobolik & husband Mel, Cresco, IA and Ilene Stika & husband Alvin, Nashua, IA. Twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. One sister: Germaine Holthaus, Festina, IA and one brother: Wilfred Dietzenbach & wife Leona, St. Lucas, IA.

Hildegard was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Brincks on Dec. 23, 2001; on granddaughter: Marsha Koudelka; and one son-in-law: William Koudelka; two sisters: Agnes Blong and Catherine Meinert; one brother: Al Dietzenbach and one brother in infancy.
