Gail Vivian Schrader, 89 of Gallatin, Tenn. (formerly of Union City), died Jan. 14, 2011. She was a resident of Gallatin Health Care, Gallatin, Tenn. her last 13 months. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 22, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, in Union City. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until noon, with the funeral at noon. Burial was in Memorial Gardens.
Gail was born June 26, 1921 in Decorah. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Rose (Thomas) Iverson. Gail was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Union City, Tenn.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrol Pitts and son-in-law Bob Pitts of Gallatin; son, Dennis Schrader of Deland, Fla.; grandson, Todd Batson and wife Lauren, and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Sara Catherine of Hendersonville, Tenn.; sister, Helen Seim of Ames; brother, Stanley and sister-in-law Darlene Iverson of Decorah; brother-in-law Donald Schwank of Barrington, Ill.; eight nieces and one nephew and several great-nieces and –nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Schrader; sister, Marquerite Rasmussen (Lester); and sister, Frances Schwank (Donald).
