Katherine Louise Henry, 74, of Cresco, passed away Saturday March 19, 2011 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. A Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Cresco at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25. A committal service will be held at a later date in New Oregon Cemetery, Cresco. Friends may call at the church Friday two hours before services. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco is in charge of the arrangements.

Katherine was born March 18, 1937 in Decorah to Mathias and Malene (Vikre) Schneberger. She attended local schools and graduated from Calmar High School.

She is survived by her life partner George Grosz of Cresco, six children, James Henry and his wife Nancy and their children Lacey of Rochester, Minn, and Jami of Cresco, Mark Henry and his children Colten, Levi, and Mali of Cresco, Christine Vokaty and her husband Edward and their children Miranda (Steve Eisermann) and their children Keenan and Konley of Hoimen, Wis., and Samantha Vokaty of Ankeny, Lisa Hadacek and her husband Chuck and their children Sara and Charles of Protivin, Jacqueline Lickteig and her husband Don and their children Steven, Clinton and Stacie, and Phil Henry and his wife Diane and their children Lexie, Kaylie, Jon and Carter all of Cresco. Also surviving is a sister Anna Houdek and her husband Dean of Spillville, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild Stephanie Vokaty, and a brother Lester Schneberger and a nephew Dan Houdek.
