Death of Mrs. Peter Anderson

Mrs. Peter Anderson passed away Sunday afternoon at Decorah hospital following a short illness, at the age of 33 years and 9 months. The remains were brought to Waukon Sunday afternoon and taken to her home in South Waukon.

Deceased whose maiden name was Frances Elizabeth Kessel was born August 11,1896 in Waukon and this community has always been her home. She was married to Peter A. Anderson about three years ago and they have since made their home in Waukon. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Peter Anderson, her mother, Mrs. Margaret Kessel, and seven brothers, namely: Alton, Harry, William, Raymond and Albert of Waukon; Andrew of Decorah, and Henry of New Albin. One brother John Kessel preceded her in death.

The funeral will be held this Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 at the Methodist church. Rev. Hervert D. Temple will conduct the funeral services.

Young Wife Called Home

News of the death of Mrs. P.A. Anderson Sunday afternoon at the Decorah hospital brought sorrow the the hearts of friends here at Waukon where she had resided since babyhood. She had been in ill health for several months past, but last week she grew worse and Saturday was taken to the hospital at Decorah, where her death occurred at two o'clock May 11, 1930. Gastric ulcers were attributed as the cause of her demise.

Deceased was born at Waukon August 11, 1896, and was 33 years and nine months old. She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kessel, her maiden name being Miss Frances Kessel. Two years ago last Thanksgiving she was united in marriage with Peter A. Anderson, foreman of the Paint Creek Telephone Co., who with her aged mother and a number of brothers are left to mourn. During her young womanhood she held the psoistion of sales-lady in several of the local stores and made many friends who will regret to learn of her death.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday afternon at two o'clock at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Temple. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
