Funeral services for Alfred B. Rosendahl, 70, 612 Helvley St, Decorah, were held Friday, March 4, at 2pm in the First Lutheran Church.

Mr. Rosendahl died Wednesday, March 2, at Smith Memorial Hospital in Decorah.
Pastor Alvon Nelson officiated at the services with burial in the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery. Steine Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Organist was Patrca Hein. Hymns were sung by the congregation.

Alfred Rosendahl was born April 2, 1895, in Glenwood Township, the son of Christian and Hansina Rosendahl. He attended rural schools.

On July 5, 1923, he married Violet Loven in Decorah. His wife and three children survive, Virgil, Mt Vernon, Iowa, Mrs. Charles (Rose) Peterson and Mrs. David (Audrey) Brickner, both of Decorah.

Mr. Rosendahl had farmed in Hesper and Pleasant townships living the past year in Decorah. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Decorah.

Other survivors include two brothers, Gilbert and Lawrence, both of Decorah; two sisters, Stella Rasmussen of Decorah and Mrs. Julius (Olga) Rude of Highlandville; also nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Myrtle, and twin sisters.
