The funeral of Ferdinand Evenrud was held at the home of Mrs. Evenrud's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Lovstuen, in this city Saturday, and burial was made in the Glenwood cemetery after a church service there. Rev. Breadesen officiated.

The deceased was born in Glenwood twp. Sept. 8, 1893, and spent most of his life there. Several years ago he moved to Decorah. On July 19, 1928, he united in marriage with Miss Dagny Lovstuen and he and wife moved back to the farm. He spent a year in Sunny Crest Sanatorium at Pine City, Minn. Some months ago he went to a sanatorium in Dubuque, where he died.

He is survived by his wife, a son two years old, three brothers, Roy, Alexander, and Arthur, and one sister, Miss Millie Evenrud. His parents are dead. To the bereaved relatives the sympathy of a large circle of friends goes out.
