Funeral services for Clifford Edward Borseth, 57, of R1 Ossian were conducted Monday, March 28, at 1:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church by the Rev. Paul Christenson. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers; Clarence Aakre, LeRoy McClintock, Gordon Pfister, William Jurs, Ronald Numedahl and Ardell Syverson.

William Kuhiman was organist and accompanied the soloist, Norman Gjevre. Arrangements were made by Sensor-French-Anderson Funeral Home.

Clifford Borseth was a farmer in the Ossian area. He died Friday, March 25.

Mr. Borseth was born July 18, 1925 in Winneshiek County where he attended rural schools. His parents were Carl and Ida (Erickson) Borseth. He married Kathryn Nelson May 24, 1980 at Washington Prairie Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ordel (Bonnie) Sorum, Decorah; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two brothers, Norman and Stanley Borseth, both of Decorah and two sisters, Mrs. Fay (Sadie) Ward of Frankville and Mrs. Lester (Arla) Hirsch of Charles City, Ia.

Mr. Borseth was a member of First Lutheran Church and the I.O.Q.F.

His parents preceded him in death.
