Erlin Harold Stoskopf of Harmony, Minn. died April 27, 1991 in Columbia, South Carolina following a short illness.

He was born May 11, 1919 to Harry and Elsie Stoskopf of Decorah, Iowa. On May 17, 1940 he married Phyllis Arlene Losen and they bought a farm north of Burr Oak, Iowa, that he worked for 37 years. He was a member of the Luren Singers of Decorah and actively involved in both St. John's Lutheran Church, Locust, Iowa and Greenfield Lutheran Church, Harmony, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1989; and two sons: Loren Dean and Lowel David.

He is survived by his daughter. Dr. Carleen Stoskopf; one granddaughter, Marissa Ann Stoskopf Venn of Columbia, South Carolina; and a brother Donald of Decorah, Iowa.

Erlin also raised 2 foster children: Ronald Gillund of Fairfax, IA and Laurel Lange of Lewiston, Minnesota.
