Hugo Noecker: Mabel, Minn., Funeral services for Hugo Noecker, 83, who died Monday, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hesper Friends Church. Miss Naomi Olsen officiating. Burial was in Hesper Public Cemetery.

He was born May 8, 1875, in Canada, the son of Gustav and Betty Noecker. He married Grace Allen March 4, 1900, and they farmed in Hesper Township. He had been living with his children the past year due to ill health.

Surviving are: Two sons, Norbert, Niles, Mich., and Milo, Decorah, Iowa: two daughters, Mrs. S. V. Erickson, Madison, Wis., and Mrs. Fay (Genevieve) Harvey, Mabel; 13 grandchildren: seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Darrington, Hesper, and Mrs. George Brown, Bur Oak, Iowa, and one brother, Rudolph, Decorah, Iowa. His wife, one daughter Ruth, two brothers and four sisters have died.
