Barbara Kay (Kneeskern) Larson, age 44, died of liver failure Tuesday, July 14, 1998 at a hospital in Great Falls, Montana. Graveside services and burial of ashes were held Thursday, July 16 at Stanford Cemetery in Montana. Barbara was born February 15, 1954 in El Paso, Texas to James and Ella (Franzwa) Kneeskern. She graduated in 1972 from the Postville Community High School in Postville, Iowa. In 1972 she married Robert R. Larson in Iowa. They were divorced in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Kneeskern, who died December 8, 1988.

She is survived by a daughter, Heather Larson and a son, Robert Larson, both of Lewistown, Montana; her mother and step-father, Ella and Tillman Aschim of Waukon, Iowa; 3 sisters, Linda Boser of Waukon, Iowa, Laura Staake of Frankville, Iowa, and Dianne Liepa of Indianola, Iowa; and 5 step-sisters, Millie Williams, Sandy Kennard, Rose Gilbert, Nancy Andrews, and Janice Henry.
