Irene A. Rose, age 65, of Cedar Falls, Iowa died Saturday, February 7, 1987 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa. Memorial services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 10 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery with Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home of Cedar Falls, Iowa in charge of arrangements.

Irene was born June 9, 1921 in Decorah, Iowa to Oscar and Florence (Hovey) Vick. She married Wayne Rose on June 17, 1938 in Decorah, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; 2 daughters, Marilu Conklin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Judy Wright of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 4 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Herbert Vick of Mason City, Iowa, Vernon Vick of Decorah, Iowa, and Frank and Harold Vick, both of Phoenix, Arizona, and a sister, Dorothy Halse of Waterloo, Iowa.
