Memorial services were held for Jay W. Jackson, age 44, of rural Decorah, Iowa on Thursday, December 4 at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa. The Rev. Landis Olson officiated at the services and interment was in Phelps Cemetery in Decorah, Iowa.

Jay was born March 24, 1942 to John W. and Marjorie (Sorenson) Jackson. He was educated in the Winneshiek County rural Pagin School and Decorah High School. In February of 1985 he married Carol Stoa in Waukon, Iowa. He was a farmer. He died on his farm on November 26, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife Carol Jackson and his mother Marjorie Jackson.
