Loren Holthaus

Loren Holthaus, age 51, of Hawkeye, died of cancer Saturday evening, November 4, 1995 at Midwest Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill. Services were held Wednesday, November 8, 1995 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Fayette, Iowa. Burial was in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery, Festina, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Vernelle; four sons, Gary Holthaus of Hawkeye, Kelly Holthaus of Ossian, Marcus Holthaus and Travis Holthaus, both at home; three daughters, Lori Holthaus and Lynn Holthaus, both at home, and Leslie Holthaus of Calmar; his parents, August and Ethel Holthaus of Ossian, three brothers, Roger Holthaus of West Union, Clifford Holthaus of Ridgeway, and August Holthaus Jr. of Ossian and a sister, Elizabeth Larson of Randalia.
