Albert Klegseth, 54, dies in trailer fire at Hesper: Albert Klegseth, 54, suffocated Sunday afternoon when fire destroyed his trailer home at Hesper. The fire which was discovered by Klegseth's sister, Mrs. Olga Folstad, who lives across the road, is believed to have started near the gas stove. The Mabel fire department was summoned at 1:30 p.m. The trailer and all its contents was consumed. Klegseth was found lying on the floor near the door. He had lived in the trailer ever since fire destroyed his frame home two years ago.

He was born Aug. 2, 1905, in Hesper township, the son of Esten and Beret (Aasum) Klegseth. He attended rural school in Hesper township, and lived all his life there.

He is survived by two sons, Ellsworth of Mailen, Ore., Roy of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Olga Folstad and Mrs. Edwin Erickson of Hesper, Mrs. Myron Welch and Mrs. Lawrence Korsness of Mabel.

His parents preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. this Thursday afternoon at the Hesper Lutheran church. The Rev. David Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
