Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove for Charles O. Storlie, 44, who died suddenly on Wednesday, May 17. The Rev. Jess W. Thompson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

A Mabel area farmer, he was planting corn on the Charles Blexrud farm near Spring Grove, and according to Dr. W.G. Rogn, Deputy Houston County coroner, Storlie died of a heart attack while operating his tractor.

He was born August 13, 1927, at Spring Grove, the son of Kenneth and Blanche (Aasum) Storlie. He attended the Spring Grove school and had lived in the area all his life. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He never married.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Storlie, Spring Grove; one brother, Melbourne, Mabel; two sisters, Mrs. David (Beverly) Thompson, Honolulu, Hawaii and Mrs. Gerald (Janice) Tjepkes, Wykoff, Minn.
