Raymond's obituary, from the Welch collection.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Steine Funeral Home in Decorah for Raymond Halse, 58, of Burr Oak, who died Saturday night at the Winneshiek County Memorial hospital in Decorah. The Rev. David E. Streyfeller officiated. Burial was in the Bur Oak cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, the former Ruby Nelson of Hesper; two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Ethel) Quandahl, Decorah; Mrs. Gerald (Carol) Bullerman, Burr Oak; three step children, Mrs. Melvin Mathison, Mabel, Stanley Nelson, and Ernest Topness, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
