Here is the Obituary for Margaret Robinson Welch: Mrs. Welch died at her home in Newberg Twp., Fillmore Co., Minn., Sunday, March 26th 1899, Mrs. Margaret R. Welch, wife of David Welch, aged 70 years, 9 months, 5 days. Margaret Robinson was born June 21, 1828 in County Antrim, Ireland. She was married to David Welch, Feb. 8, 1849. They immigrated to America in September 1850. After a residence of several years in the Eastern States and in Wisconsin, she moved with husband and family to Fillmore Co., Minnesota, in 1861 and which place has since been her home. Her family which survives her, consists of husband, five daughters, and three sons, all being present at the death bed, except one daughter who resides in North Dakota and was unable to be present. The funeral service was held Wednesday, March 29th, at the Friends Church in Hesper, Dr. Philip Slack officiating. From the Welch collection.

Mrs. David Welch, who has been failing ever since her fall, of which mention was made some weeks ago, passed away on the evening of the 25th. The funeral services will be held at the Friends church to-day, (Wednesday) March 29th.

Margaret Robinson was born June 21, 1828, in County Antrim, Ireland. She was married to David Welch, Feb. 3. 1849. They emigrated to America in September 1850.
