Cheryl Dignin

Cheryl (Spilde) Dignin, 48, of Little Canada, Minn., died of cancer Wednesday, June 28, 2000.

The funeral service was held Saturday, July 1, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake, Minn.

Cheryl (Spilde) Dignin was born in DECORAH, the daughter of Vernon and Kathryn Spilde, and was baptized and confirmed at Washington Prairie Lutheran Church.

A 1969 graduate of DECORAH High School and 1973 graduate of DECORAH Luther College, she received her master's degree in social work from the University of Minnesota. She had currently been a social worker in the Osseo, Minn., school district.

Survivors include her husband, Mike, and their children, Mallory and Stephen; her parents; one brother, Craig (Jeanette) of DECORAH; two sisters, Corinne (Mark) Erase of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Diane (Charlie) Smock of Plattsmouth, Neb.; and many other relatives.
