Lucille Wall

Lucille Wall, 82, of New Hampton, died Friday, July 23, 1999, of natural causes at the New Hampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 27, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Hampton with the Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating.

The organist was Kathy Wickman. She accompanied the cantor, Rose Baltes and the St. Joseph Resurrection Choir.

Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery in New Hampton, with Lloyd Huber, William Ellis, George Tupy, John Huber Jr., Clair Huber and James Huber serving as casket bearers.

The Conway Funeral Home in New Hampton handled arrangements.

Lucille 0. (Huber) Wall was born July 8, 1917, in Sumner Township of Winneshiek County, the daughter of John Jacob and Susanna B. (Kapler) Huber.

She attended parochial school in Spillville. After her schooling, she worked as a nurses aide in various places.

Lucille was married to William Wall at St. Joseph Church in New Hampton. After their marriage, the couple lived in Spearfish, S.D. They later moved to New Hampton, where they remained the rest of their married life.

Lucille was an artistic person and enjoyed crafts.

Survivors include three sisters, Matilda Gebel of New Hampton, Geneva Becker of Cresco, and Angela and Ambrose "Bill" Ellis of Reads Landing, Minn.; two brothers, Daniel J. and Elizabeth Huber of New Hampton, and John N. and Marie Huber of New Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.

Lucille Wall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; one brother, Richard Huber; and one sister, Viola Tupy.
