Funeral Services Held For Mrs. McGhee Thursday

Funeral services will be held on this Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home for Liza McGhee, 90, who passed away at a nursing home in Decorah last Sunday evening.

Rev. Walter T. Martin, pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Castalia.

Eliza Catherine Armstrong, daughter of Hugh and Margaret Armstrong was born May 5, 1862, in Ireland. She came to America in 1882. On June 2, 1915 she was united in marriage to L. H. McGhee, four miles west of Postville. The couple lived at Greenwood, Wisconsin, Lansing and Castalia.

Mrs. McGhee passed away Sunday, November 9, at Decorah.

She is survived by one brother, John Armstrong of Castalia and two nieces Mrs. Harold Welch, Zumbroda, Minnesota and Mrs. Louis Swick, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
