Jennie R. Indvick

Jennie R. Indvick, 85, formerly of Onalaska, Wis., died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, at the Maple Manor Nursing Home in Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m., at the Woodruff Funeral Home, 4239 Mormon Coulee Rd, in La Crosse, Wis.

The Rev. Mark Solyst officiated and burial was at the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Woodruff Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Jennie (Robinson) Indvick was born in Decorah April 28, 1914, the daughter of Allie and Alice (Chatman) Robinson.

She married Norman T. Indvick June 15, 1935. Together they enjoyed square dancing. They belonged to Grand Squares of Spring Grove, Minn., Valley Twirlers of Houston, Minn., Nor-jen Round Dance Club of La Crosse, Wis., Decorah Minowa Club and the Coulee Region Promenaders of La Crosse, Wis.

Jennie moved to Chatfield, Minn., to be near her daughter before going into the nursing home.

Survivors include one daughter, Ann and Gary Simenson of Chatfield, Minn.; one son, David and Myrna Indvick of Mountain Home, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Jennie Indvick was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; and one sister.
